WHEAT MILL Zambeef commenced milling its own wheat into
flour on 1st November, 2006 and selling its flour under the
brand name ZAMFLOUR.

BAKERY Zambeef commissioned its bakery in April 2007 and
market its own bread under the brand name ZAMLOAF through its
extensive retailing and distribution network. This will allow
the company to add maximum value to the 10,000 tonnes of wheat
produced by Zambeef per year and sell this in a value added form
direct to the end consumer.

MILK PLANT Zambeef has commission the new
equipment in its milk plant which will increase the capacity for
drinking and eating yoghurts from 2,800 litres per day to 16,000
litres per day. This will allow Zambeef to increase volumes and
yields in its milk plant significantly.

EXPANSION OF BEEF OPERATIONS Since
the end of the last financial year, Zambeef has acquired a new
abattoir in Livingstone and built another abattoir in Sinazongwe
resulting in an increase in cattle slaughtered .This additional
beef has allowed Zambeef to expand its beef processing
operations and produce higher value products.

EXPANSION INTO GHANA Zambeef has taken the
franchise on the Shoprite Checkers butcheries in Ghana. Shoprite
Checkers is the largest supermarket chain in Africa and Zambeef
already has the franchise on its Zambian and Nigerian
butcheries. The first Shoprite Checkers supermarket is due to
open in Ghana in May 2007.

EXPANSION IN NIGERIA
The next Shoprite Checkers supermarket to open in Nigeria will
be in Kalabah in July 2007 and Zambeef will be running the
butchery in this new store. Further new stores in four
additional sights are currently being looked at. Zambeef's
subsidiary in Nigeria is expected to commission its new
processing plant in Lagos later this year.

EXPANSION IN TANNERY
Zamleather Limited has just expanded its production capacity
from 70,000 to 120,000 hides per annum following the upswing in
world leather prices and the increased demand for its products.

EXPANSION IN ZAMBIAN ECONOMY The
Zambian real growth rate is expected to increase from 6 percent
in 2006 to 7 percent in 2007. Zambeef as the main provider of
basic food products in Zambia, namely beef, chickens, milk, eggs
and bread expects to benefit significantly in all its divisions
from this increase in real incomes.
